Now Hear Asian Dub Foundation and The Moody Blues
What do you get when you expose 7 young men from gritty London to Bob Marley, The Clash, Bad Brains, Prince, and Ravi Shankar, then send them out clubbing to Transglobal Underground, Dub Pistols, and African Head Chase?
Don't feel bad if you don't know! It's hard to describe, but these guys have created music that encompasses rap, hip-hop and dub, layered with infectious Bollywood overtones and a punk attitude to deliver a unique yet somehow totally recognizable sound.
Next time you are in the mood for some hip-hop, do yourself a big favour and look beyond just the headliners like Drake, Kanye, or The Weeknd, and check these guys out.

You know them, you love them, and you've probably ignored them for at least a decade. Maybe it's time for you to revisit the guys who are credited with helping kick off the whole prog rock scene, giving us such mega-hits as " Knights in White Satin" and "Your Wildest Dreams" along the way.
Within just a year of forming - originally as an R&B band - The Moody Blues were opening for the Beatles on tour in America. They were soon chosen by their label Decca to create a new sound to show off their brand new stereo technology. Using rock songs set within a classical music framework, The Moody Blues helped pioneer progressive rock.
The rest is history. Pure, beautiful music history that is worth listening to again. So, dig out your old copies or come pick one of our wide selection of vintage Moody Blues albums and relive an important bit of rock history.
